Not only filet, ribs and steaks but also typically French pieces such as the rib-eye or sirloin…Beef, its cousins and neighbors are all there in this Harlem butcher shop that opened in 2011 and has already become famous around the corner. Discouraged at no being able to find natural and tasty meat with ease and at a reasonable price, the Forrester brothers opened the butcher shop. They ensure that the animals grown in open air pastures and are fed exclusively on grass that is antibiotic and hormone free. The little extra effort that makes a difference and set them apart: a meat which has been ‘matured‘ to develop the taste.

Meat sold at Harlem Shambles comes from different farms in the Finger Lakes and Hudson Valley region, and yet adorns the ‘Animal Welfare Approved’ stamp . Harlem Shambles also sells Italian Chorizo, meat and kidney pies, homemade sausages, liver, merguez and even farm eggs and bread. In short, they give you everything to reconcile with meat in the US.
