Faith knows no barrier, and even less that of a language in Los Angeles. Father Germán Sánchez welcomes the French and francophones in Los Angeles to the Church St Sebastian, and offers masses in French, catechism courses and chaplaincy sessions in his French-speaking Catholic Church.
Saint Sebastian Church – Francophone Catholic Church Catholic in Los Angeles
The Francophone Catholic Church of Los Angeles offers masses in French, celebrations in French and catechesis courses in French.
Every Sunday at 10:30 am, Father Germán Sánchez offers a mass in French at the Saint Sébastian Church, and on the first Saturday of each month at 7:30 am at the Eglise Our Lady Queen of Angels Church in Newport Beach.
The Catholic Church St Sébastian also offers a prayer of Taizé, on every first Friday night of the month, at 7 pm. The mass however, is in 3 languages, French, English and Spanish, at different times.
There are different groups:
- Groups of catechism for children 7-11 years;
- A “pause-caté” for children 11 to 12 years;
- A group of chaplain for 13-year-olds and over.

The Catholic School at St Sebastian Church
The St Sebastian school is a Catholic parish school. Father Germán Sánchez is proud to welcome there parents, children, and administrative staff and faculty of the school.
The children of Catholic families and families of good will wishing that they receive a balanced education based on the Gospel can enroll here. Prices are lower than those in other Catholic schools or private schools.
The classes offered range from pre-kindergerten to the 8th Grade (middle section to the 4th), and can learn English, French, Spanish and Mandarin.
