Location: The Original Farmer’s Market, 3rd and Fairfax, Los Angeles

Are you passionate about French cuisine and interested in leading a busy restaurant in a popular market? We are seeking a dedicated and experienced General Manager to lead our team at a bustling French bistro located in the heart of Los Angeles at The Original Farmer’s Market.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leadership: Lead and inspire a Front of House (FOH) team of 15 individuals, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.

  • Operational Excellence: Oversee day-to-day restaurant operations, ensuring a high standard of service, food quality, and overall guest experience.
  • Customer Engagement: Interact with guests to enhance their dining experience and address any concerns promptly, maintaining a focus on customer satisfaction.
  • Maintaining cleanliness standards and assisting with decor improvements
  • Planning special nights and events throughout the year, showcasing french food and culture.
  • Staff Development: Recruit, train, and develop team members, providing ongoing coaching and feedback to ensure a high level of performance.
  • Financial Management: Manage budgeting, financial reporting, and cost control measures to achieve and exceed business goals.
  • Scheduling: Create and maintain staff schedules, considering business needs and labor budgets.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, as well as company policies and procedures.


  • Previous experience as a Manager in a restaurant setting is required.

  • Fluent in French, French-speaking, or a genuine love for French culture is highly preferred.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a diverse team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven track record of achieving financial targets and managing budgets.
  • Flexibility to work nights and weekends as needed.


  • Salary of $70,000 annually.
