Derri\u00e8re le Junkman\u2019s Daughter Store<\/h2>\n

Comme son nom l\u2019indique, le magasin est tenu par la fille d\u2019un chiffonnier, Pam Majors, qui a accumul\u00e9 pendant plus de 40 ans des babioles, diverses pacotilles et autant de camelotes. Elle les a alors entass\u00e9es dans un local de plus de 920 m2 \u00e0 Little 5 Points<\/strong>, et ne cesse de renouveler son stock \u00e0 mesure qu\u2019il est d\u00e9valis\u00e9 par ses clients. 30 ans apr\u00e8s sa cr\u00e9ation, c\u2019est aujourd\u2019hui l\u2019un des magasins ind\u00e9pendants<\/strong> les plus appr\u00e9ci\u00e9s de G\u00e9orgie et il figure parmi les plus originaux aux Etats-Unis.<\/p>\n\r\n\t

Les visiteurs y vont soit pour trouver quelque chose qu\u2019ils ne cherchaient pas, soit pour chercher autre chose qu\u2019ils trouveront encore moins. Les autres se contentent d\u2019y d\u00e9ambuler pour le plaisir des yeux (mais pas du portefeuille : les produits sont plut\u00f4t chers).<\/p>\n

Dans le Junkman\u2019s Daughter Store<\/h2>\n

Tous les styles sont repr\u00e9sent\u00e9s, du gothique au geek, en passant par la mode hipster en encore rasta. Le magasin poss\u00e8de \u00e9galement une section sp\u00e9ciale narguil\u00e9s<\/strong>, au fond, avec notamment des Hookahs Hello Kitty, panda ou plus ou moins grosses (et donc plus ou moins ch\u00e8res).<\/p>\n

Un escalier cach\u00e9 dans une chaussure \u00e0 talon rouge comme l\u2019enfer vous emm\u00e8ne \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9tage. L\u00e0-haut, le royaume du soulier<\/strong> vous attend de pied ferme. Ce n\u2019est pas l\u00e0 que vous trouverez des escarpins d\u00e9licats pour votre bal de promo, mais plut\u00f4t des bottes fa\u00e7on cosmonaute ou une d\u00e9clinaison de bottines autour du clou, dans une salle qui annonce d\u00e9j\u00e0 le ton, avec une moquette l\u00e9opard et des murs z\u00e8bre.<\/p>\n
