Pierre Sibille is the artist of the month of October at Nick Ashford and Valerie Simpson’s legendary Sugar Bar. He will be playing at Nick Ashford’s famous blues night: “NUTTIN’ BUT THE BLUES” with\u00a0Damara & The Back Alley Players.<\/strong><\/strong><\/p>\n

Pierre Sibille invited Valerie Simpson to be a part of his charity composition “Light in Senegal<\/strong><\/em>” orchestrated with BLUES’UP.<\/p>\n

This song is the beginning of a communication in support of organizations like EMPIRE DES ENFANTS<\/strong>,\u00a0SPER center,\u00a0<\/strong>Dakar<\/strong>\u00a0SAMU SOCIAL, VILLAGE PILOTE, FUTUR AU PRESENT, YAAKARU GUNUYI<\/strong> who work to educate, support and reunite street children with their families.\u00a0There are 200,000 children living on the streets in Senegal. \u00a0BLUES’UP wants to to defend and make their cause a priority!<\/p>\n

Artists have come together to sing and record “Light in Senegal<\/strong><\/em>“, but the fight has only just begun!<\/p>\n

A documentary “Something from the Street<\/strong><\/em>”\u00a0by Pascal Nazzaro<\/strong> (Natty Brothers Production<\/strong>) in association with BLUES’UP\u00a0showcasing Senegalese children will be released on October 29th, 2013.<\/p>\n
