Composition of 21 vintage baseball catchers’ masks (from a private collection) by award-winning photographer Lane Barden. The idea is to show the beauty of photographic detail as it describes a set of objects – all designed to solve the same problem, each in its own unique way – in an objectively articulate, documentary style. This is an edition made from the 1997 images used in a piece now in the collection of the Los Angeles County Museum of Art. Each print is signed and numbered.
