Catherine Amsellem and Michel Pombet, behind all the success of the hexagonal cuisine

Parigot French Bistro

Michel – I have worked as a personal Chef, which allowed me to see the world through my travels. It was finally in New York in 1986 that I put my bags down.

Catherine – I arrived in the United States for a year, 30 years ago, and never returned to France. After having worked my entire career in the world of corporate America, it is an encounter that made everything change…

Looking for a French touch, it was 10 years ago that we met at the corner of Midtown French Restaurant.

Thus the Parigot project took shape, the idea being to recreate a small French Quarter cafe that was missing in the Big Apple.
